Tompkins Square Park

This was a proposal for Tompkins Square Park in East Village, New York. The objective was to create three types of wayfinding signage in addition to the existing signs, to help visitors feel more connected to the space. The park is located between avenue A and B—thus two 15 feet tall abstract letters “A” and “B” were designed as identification signs at its respective entry points. The deep blue and orange color were chosen to compliment the colors of nature in the park.

Others include directional sign and amenity sign.
